Split/Bottom Screen Filter

H

Hadi

Hello,

here is what am doing: I setup a view of resource graph against a gantt
chart to basically show me what is causing my overloads on the resrouce
graphs. Project will show me, on the bottom screen gantt chart all tasks
that "Resrouce1" is assinged to whem I am looking at Resource1 histogram on
the top screen. I am trying to find out if I can apply a filter to the
bottom screen to be able to see certain tasks isntead of all the tasks that
Resource1 is assigned to. I know i can apply all kind of filters to a gantt
chart if it was on the top screen but am not sure about the bottom one.

help is always appreciated.

Hi Hadi,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

No, the bottom pane is already a filter based on the item selected in the
top pane. You could try the other way round, in which case you can apply a
filter to the top pane first.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

OK can the filter applied to the bottom pane be modified easily to include
certain task names?
