Split database for multi user doesn't show sub form to all

I've split the tables from our database and put them on
the server. The front end is on each users desktop. In
the data entry form, there is a sub form. When more than
one user is in the main form, 1st one in sees the sub
form, 2nd one in doesn't. They both can see the main form
although it takes longer to load for #2 user.
Help - thanks!?
