Hi its me the mattress sales man again making lots of
progress on my database but have hit another wall

on the form for the sales info i am trying to set it up
so that if the field SPLIT(boolean)if true will cut the
value of the subtotal of merchandise in half as i am
spliting this sale with someone else

i tried an if then function but then it will not let me
enter a sub total i need to be able to manually enter a
sub total and if i check split it will automatically cut
that in half

thanks again for all your help
