Split Window/Freeze Pane

Hi,

Is there a way to either Split Window or Freeze Panes in Visio like you can
in Excel?

I am running Vision Pro 2003 SP1.

I hope someone can help out.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Nothing built in to the product that I've ever seen.

You'd have to write a bit of code that would watch for window scroll events
or view-changed events. You *can* have two windows onto the same drawing
page.

The code for this isn't that difficult, if you're in to such things, but
then you have to package it all up neat into some sort of add-on...

Chris,

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into it and we put anything together I'll
let you know.

Hi Lancer,

Just wondering if you did find a way of freezing/splitting frames in Visio,
as that application would be very useful for me too.
Thanks,

Visio doesn't split or freeze in the same way Excel does, but you can add a
new window (Window/New Window) and then tile them (Window/Tile).

Hope that helps.

Best regards

John
