Split Window in Enterprise View?

When creating a new Enterprise View Template (View=how data is displayed.
i.e. Gantt chart) (not an actual template file .mpt) in Project Server 2007
Web Access, can I make it so it automatically opens with a split window
(split a view), with a Gantt chart on top and resources displayed on the
bottom?

Or can you confirm for me that the only way to use a split window (Select
"Window" from toolbar -> select "split:) is for each user to manually add it
themselves every time they open a stand alone version of Project Office 2007
or off Office Project Server Web Access?

Views like this can be created in the local global or in the enterprise
global. They are called conbination views. To create a conbination view,
create or make sure you have the view you wish to use saved as single views.

Open the enterprise global
goto more views
click the new button
select the radio button for combination view
select the Top and Bottom views
save this view
save the global

Hope this helps.

Your suggestion worked perfectly ~ thanks Perhaps you can help me some more.
I created an Enterrprise Templated by
1. in PS stand alone Tools -> Enterprise Options ->Open Enterprise Global (I
was it say "Checked-out Enterprise Global".
2. I clicked on the Gantt Chart to have something to start wtih, renamed it
"PMO Default Gantt", inserted some new columns and added the the combination
view.
3. When finished with changes, I clicked File -> Close and checked it back
in. I shut down and restarted my PC, but know I can't find it.
Can you tell me where I might find it and how can I get my new "PMO Default
Gantt" to automatically appear on my "View Bar" on the left when I open PS07?

On the view definition dialog (same place you select the top and bottom
view), there is a checkbox that says "Show im Menu". This will make it
appear on the view bar as well.

Hope this helps.
