Splits not shown in My Tasks view

I remember seeing this addressed in past threads. I just want to know if any
advances have been made in this regard.

Why are splits not shown in the My Task view?

Is there a hotfix or update to correct this?

Is anything being done about it?

Conrad:

The system allows resources to post work or percent complete against any
published task in their time sheet at any time unless managed time periods
are being used. Therefore, task splits are for planning, not tracking. If
you are tracking work by day, and a resource displays scheduled work in the
timesheet, and the spit task is published correctly, the work split work
contour will show up. Resources can submit work that wasn't scheduled, or
more or less than scheduled. Keep in mind that the Gantt chart capabilities
in PWA are rudimentary.
