I am currently trying to split a database using the database splitter but
when that begins, I get the error "The database could not lock table 'table1'
because it is already in use by another person or process" followed by
"Invalid procedure call or argument".
In tools->options under the advanced tab, I have already set default open
mode to exclusive, default record locking to No Locks and unchecked the
record-level blocking option.
Also, when I just double-click on my database afterwords, an ldb lock file
is generated. But if I open up MS Access and then open my database via
File->Open..., the locking file does not show up.
When I tested the database splitter, I tried using the wizard on the second
method of opening up my database (with no lock file). But during the
splitting, a lock file appears and that's when I get the errors above.
Could someone please let me know if there are some other configuration
locations for locking options?
Thanks!
