Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with two issues. I'm a long-time
user of Word (since Word 2 on 3.1) and have two issues that are
annoying me:
1. When I create tables towards the end of a page they will invariably
split the rows in some way, rather than just keeping the table
together. Does anyone know of an option to keep a table together and
not allow it to split? I've seen the option to stop rows themselves
from splitting, but I want to stop the whole table from splitting.
I noticed that there is an option in the compatibility to stop it from
happening but it doesn't seem to work in Word 2002.
2. In Word 2002 I inserted a GIF that I'd set to have a transparent
background using MS Paint. However, when printing the document the
resolution of the printed GIF is awful - it's a screen grab and the
text is not readable. However, when I convert the gif back to not
having a transparent background the image prints just fine! This is
obviously a bug but I wondered if anyone knows of a fix?
Thanks in advance,
