Spoofed spam

In the past two years I've received hundreds of spams supposedly sent by
myself, from many different sources. Therefore, I added my own email address
to my Blocked Sender's List.

But recently, I've started to receive spam that the Blocked Sender's List
doesn't block.

How does this happen? Is there any practical way to deal with the issue?

By the way, I'm sure that no virus is involved. Norton doesn't find anything
and I always practice safe email practices.

Thanks.

Try SpamBayes - it is a wonderful filter that constantly learns. Works very
well with Outlook 2003.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Milly,

That's good information, but doesn't address my question. If I set up
(e-mail address removed) as a blocked sender, what could cause Outlook to ignore
that instruction? If my own email address is (e-mail address removed), what would
keep Outlook from junking such messages?

Thanks.
