Spool32 error after printing envelopes

I'm having a printing issue at my location. After a user
prints an envelope from MS-Word the next thing printed
from Word will give a Spool32 error. The receiving light
on the printer will then light up but either not print or
print wrong. If I powercycle the printer sometimes the
document will print correctly but I have to still reboot
the computer to clear the Spool32 error and recover the
printers. I've tried to print to two different printers
with the same result (both HP Laserjet 6mp). Also, I'm
having the same issue from Office 2000 and Office 97.

Hi Dan,

If the error occurs when you print or after you print the first item
to rule out is a corrupt printer driver. Obtain an updated driver from
the manufacturer's web site and see if that resolves it
