Hi,
We are using Microsoft Project Server 2003. There are no service packs or
hotfixes been applied after the initial installtion. We have an enterprise
resource pool that is synchronized using AD sync every day. All projects use
enterprise resources. Sometimes when the project does "Publish New and
Changed Assignments" they get a spooler error. The spooler error is as
follows:
Error: The windows user account or user name for the affected user account
conflicts with an existing account on the server (0x8C04000D)
It then specifies the project name and the usernames that are affected.
If I open the resources associated with that project, it is missing windows
account and other resource information. Now, if I open the enterprise
resource pool, select all, and save them again the resource information on
the projects is now completed and the publish goes through.
Do you know if this is a known bug? Or is there a workaround/Solution?
Thanks.
Nishi
