I get the following error when I try to print-"Spooler Subsystem App has
encountered a problem and needs to close". I am running Windows XP Pro and
recently installed Office Enterprise 2007. I never had this problem printing
from Office Pro 2003 and the other people (3) on my network have no problem
printing. I reinstalled Office and the print driver to no avail.
The only way I can print is to restart the computer, go to Windows, System
32, Spooler, Printers, and delete the files, then go to the Temp folder and
delete the files, then turn off the computer, reset the print server, reset
the printer, spin in my office chair three times, turn on the computer,
(removing all sharp instruments and blunt objects from the area while it
boots), and then maybe, if I'm lucky, I can print a page or two before it
locks up and I need to start the process over again. Any suggesteions?
