Hi: I received a doc based on Word '03 & upgraded the text via Word '07. I
provided a copy of the '07 version in the '03 compatibility format to my
colleague. In this 30 page doc there was one instance where the Cross
Reference to a Figure was not 'picked up' which resulted in the usual
error...statement. On another page some of the of the text of a Table x-x
label was not bold as in the '07 version (the word "Table" was bold but not
the "x-x" (field number info)). I checked the Style used & the formatting
(via Reveal Formatting) but did not find a problem. The only way I could fix
the inconsistency was via a PC with Word '03. Both the '07 (.docx) & '03
(.doc) compatible format were fine on my PC using Word '07.
Any suggestions on the cause & solution to this erratic & inconsistent
behavior?
