WinXPS2. I've recently been having random crashes in Word, and wondered
whether it was a recent game install that was causing it. Tried to uninstall
game, message came up saying there was an error in uninstalling, like the
game really wasnt there. Decided to try System Restore. After System Restore,
all the files from the game came up as being renamed. The icon is not on the
desktop and the game is not listed in program list. However, the files are
still there in the Program Files folder. Can I delete these files? Why are
they still there? Do I need to do anything with registry stuff? I haven't
worked in Word enough yet (just did restore today) to see if the SysRestore
solved the crashing problem. I'd appreciate any comments on this issue from
you wise ones! Thank you.
