spread sheet help

I am trying to put together a spreadsheet with the following headings.
brands, orig purchase, brandswap, upsell, actual purchase. promo item given,
age, sex, location.

I want the sheet to be able to categorize the brand and give me amalgamated
data on each brand entered (unless multiply then that is together) but to
also tell me where the brands are selling.

can anyone help?

Take a look at Pivot Tables
