Spreading background picture across frames?

Sorarse

I want to use a frame to stop my navigation bar scrolling when the rest of
the page scrolls, but I can't work out if it's possible to spread my
watermark background picture across the two frames I need to create. At the
moment I am getting a version of my background picture in each frame, where
what I want to do is spread the one background picture across both frames.
Is it possible, and if so, how do I do it?

It can be done but probably only if you are using a pattern and you can set
exact width of the left and right frames. I read about it in a Lynda.com
book about Dreamweaver MX. It's too much for me to type out here and what
they say for DW might not apply to FP.
You might try putting only part of the image on the left and the other part
(separate image) on the right. There again, you have to be able to specify
the width of each frame..... not a %age.
