Spreadsheed does not show on server

I'm using FP-2000 and am having a problem with a spreadsheet on a web page. I
added the spreadsheet on a HTM page via insert component. I copied and pasted
my date in the sheet. It looks fine in design and preview mode (the data in
the spreadsheet displays OK). After I publish the web as usual and go to the
page containing the spreadsheet the spreadsheet does not show. The outline
of the spreadsheet is on the page along with the small square in the upper
left corner (missing image symbol?).

Why does the page look fine before publishing but does show the spreadsheet
on the server?

Thanks
Jim T.

Thomas,

The path to the URL below is usually accessed though a password screen. I've
disabled the check in the page so you can go directly to the URL below. The
page was built in FP-2000 using the insert component and then pasting in the
data from an Excel-2000 speadsheet.

You must be publishing to a Windows IIS web server via FP's http mode and the server must have the
Office Web Component installed, as well as users must have a licensee copy of Excel installed and
using IE as their browser under Windows.

Thomas,

Thanks for the quick reply. I publish under IIS, have an license copy of
Excel, and the latest version of IE Explorer. I'll contact my host so see if
they have the Office Web Components installed.

Does this also apply to inserting DB results?

Thanks
Jim T.

DB results will work just fine, since it would be using ASP / ASP.net and VBScript.
