Spreadsheet question

How can I download my monthly summary from my broker and
put it in a form that would be acceptable to the IRS?
How do I use the spreadsheet in Microsoft Office for this
purpose? Thanks.

That question would best be directed to the IRS. They not Microsoft,
determine the aceptable form of infomation submittals.

I don't know what the IRS requires monthly, but maybe you're interested in
filing a personal income tax return annually. This isn't the solution you
asked for, but one way is to use TurboTax or similar tax preparation
software. If your broker supports this feature, tax preparation software
can download your 1099 form information into the tax return it's preparing.
This solution doesn't use a spreadsheet, though. If you really want a
spreadsheet for some reason, check the features of the broker's web site --
they're all different.
