Spreadsheet reaches 10000 GDI object

We have this issue as well. Excel power users gdi object count goes to 10000
and it just makes all the ribbon screens all nuts. They have to end task
excel or try to remember where the buttons are to save and exit.

Also this problem can be reproduced on about 5 machines with office 2007
latest service pack.
