I AM COPYING AND PASTING THIS FROM A POSTING MADE BY JEANFOR ON

Project2003 WSS and SPS2003 can be installed on the same server. The
install is a little bit tricky. Here are the main steps: 1/ installl
SPS 2003 (make sure that frontpage extensions are not installed 2/ run
WSSWIZ.exe 3/ do not extend the default virtual site in WSS, instead
create a portal site in the Default site 4/ create a WSS site 5/Install
projectserver2003 (if you install services make sure you do that
install first) 6/Check that the application identity for project server
is not using the Portal identity (it causes the grid not to function
properly), but uses a Network type identity. We have rolled out a
distributed installation of Project2003 with: Project2003/WSS/and SPS
2003 on the Fronnt end-server (in DMZ) SSL enabled and fully qualified
domain Project2003 services on Application server(LAN) SQL2000 and
OLAOP 2000 on a third server.(LAN) Hope this helps Jean

Additional steps I've taken are to set up "projects" as a managed path on
the server. This allows Project 2003 to create project sites underneath the
projects root.

I have the feeling this has now run its course everywhere than in the
Project Server newsgroup where it should ONLY have been to start with.

Please post further replies to the Project Server newsgroup - they are
totally uninteresting to most WSS users (who are not running Project
Server).

[I am however grateful that this wasn't also posted to the STS newsgroup as
well.]
