SQL 2005 and Project Server 2003

I wanted to know if these two products are now compatible? I know there was
an issue between these two but what about now. Some blogs say to keep using
SQL 2000 which is it was supported since day one. I have a client that is
using SQL 2005 and Proj Server 2003 and have been having trouble since they
one. I didn't install the two application servers and I needed to know if it
was worth troubleshooting or move on with creating a separate server with SQL
2000 and Project Server 2003?

Any guidance would help

Thank you

The combination is supported by MS. Project Server 2003 should be on
SP3 or have the appropriate hotfixes applied.

Install the hotfix if you are on SP2a and follow these instructions
for configuring OLAP:

I've been pretty happy with SQL 2005 and Project Server 2003.
