Hi all,

I have used access for a few years, and have been contemplating looking into
SQL, i see a lot about it on the boards, but don't really know what it is
and how to go about even learning it!

Are there any books you can recommnend? Websites?

Am looking for basics - what, how, why, where and when!!

Thanks,

Kirstie

What: read the site at microsoft.com/sql
How: download the free Express Edition and the free Management Studio
from that site.
Why: SQL Server can handle bigger databases, more users, is more
scalable and more secure.
Where: see What.
When: See Why.

Once you have a basic understanding, take a trip to your local book
store and find a book that suits your style of learning.
