MrPhil
I have a table in SQL Server 2K with a field that is numeric(10,4).
When I link to this table in ACC2K or 2K3, the field is interpreted as
currency. The design view shows "currency"; the datasheet view shows
the dollar sign and two decimal places until I click into the field,
then it expands to four decimal places but retains the dollar sign.
Huh? I understand the correlation between SQL numerics and Access
currency fields, but don't you think they'd have repaired this by now?
Or do I need to make some Byzantine adjustment to my DSN
settings/registry? Any KB article cover this bizarre behavior?
Please reply to this forum and to
phil_hegedusich_at_nospam_iimak_dot_com (usual replacements) as the
email account I'm forced to use here is slammed.
TIA,
