SQL Nightmare

I am running a new PC with XP Pro and Office 2007.
I kept getting an Error message saying to Unistall SQLDUMPER Library & then
reinstall it. I've uninstalled everthing with SQL in its name by add/remove,
but cannot reinstall it.
I've found what I think is the right downlad site, but it only ever installs
half the program's components.
It would help if I even knew what SQL was!
As a consequence, it seems to take my fast PC over 5 minutes to get from the
"User log on" page to my desktop.
What can I do please - my knowledge base is very limited!

Hi, nojo901,

sqldumper.exe is a utility that helps to generate files for troubleshooting.
I don't know that you must have it, so I wouldn't worry about re-installing
it unless you find later that some application asks for it.

Are you in a corporate environment or is this a standalone PC? Was
everything pre-installed by the original equipment manufacturer? If so, I
believe I'd ask them to support it, as they are responsible for supporting
the software they pre-install. This is probably not related to Office, but
to Windows.

Thank you Mezzodiva.
Its a standalone PC and all the manufacturere advises is that I restore the
PC back to factory settings - to be frank, i cannot bear the thought of
reinstalling everything again and resetting both users' preferences!
I am running an Office 2007 Trial version at present and might perhaps wait
ti I buy a new set and see whether installing that helps instead.
Once again, thank you for your advice in this regard.
