SQL Programming Book Recommendation

I'm using Access 2003 and my Queries are getting very complex. I need to
teach myself SQL. What book(s) would you recommend.

An excellent book I've used as a student and have kept in my reference
library for the last 10 years is a SAMS book "Teach yourself Trasact-SQL in
21 days." I takes you from start to finish in a step-by-step fashion with
plenty of examples.
