SQL Query - To Excel - My Workbook Does not Function Properly

What is the best way to upload or save a Query to an excel workbook? I am
running large queries and seem to be having problems with functioning - as
some of the SQL language is still in the file.

How do I make sure the upload or save is "clean" so excel runs properly.
