SQL Query to update task status - Accept Status update

Is there a SQL query that could be used to change the update task status
(accept tasks status updates) on a large number of projects at one time?

I have asked each of the project managers to accept all outstanding tasks
updates on these projects, as they show up in my SQL query as “projects with
status updates pendingâ€.

Is there a SQL script that I could use to change the task update status for
each project?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
