SQL Server - Which SP is best for Project Server

Hi There

I'm having problems publishing tasks to the Project Server, I've read
through numerous threads related to the error message 0x800a0005

One of them suggest that a correct installation of SQL SP1 will do the trick.
The question I have is, must I install SQL SP1, or can I go for a later SP
version of SQL.

The optimum Service Pack for Project Server 2003 is SQL SP3a.
