I AM RUNNING POWERPOINT AS SUPPLIED IN MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003.
I have created a slide show of normal slides and including a slide with
video. The video is from a digital camera which I copied into the computer
hard disk using Roxio Dick Copy.
I can run the video successfully from the hard drive, using Windows. When I
Insert the video into the powerpoint slide show, the slideshow presentation
contains black squares surrounding the video images. I spoke to a Microsoft
technical person, who suggested making a chnage to my computer to correct the
problem. I tried it and it does not solve the problem completely. Since I
intend to send out CDs with the slide show presentation to clients, I will
need to have the presentation work correctly in all computers. I would like
to be able to insert this video copied from a sony camera mini disk, into the
hard drive and then to the Powerpoint slide show, as recommended, and have
it run with a good presentaion as I got with Windows, before inserting it
into Powerpoint.
