Suddenly my cursor arrow keys are behaving strangely in Excel 2003
11.8117.8107. Traditionally when I hit the down arrow key, the selected
cell drops down one row, etc. Now if I hit the down arrow key, it drives
the window elevator on the right down a notch -- so the selected cell
remains the same, but the whole spreadsheet moves up a bit. Same with the
other three arrow keys -- they control the window sliders now, not the
selected cell. No other applications seem to show this behavior - not Word
even.
The only change I can think of is that I just installed the Office update
this morning, but everything was still ok after that for a few hours. I
tried closing out of all things Excel and reopening them, but I get the same
effect. Presumably I've accidentally struck some key combination that told
Excel to do and to store the configuration this but I can't find it anywhere
in the Options panels.
Does this sound familiar? Anyone know how to get back to the normal state?
Thanks.
