SR-1 update for Office 2000

I had a system crash & had to reinstall everything. After
installing MS Office 2000, I downloaded & installed
Installer 2.0, then SR-1, SR-2, & SR-3. Re-booted computer
between each installation. Now everytime I go to use Word
or Excel, it ask for me to insert "MS Office 2000 Small
Business SR-1 disk".

How can I correct this? Or do the updates require you to
use the MS Office CD all the time?

I note that you were successful in installing SR-1 to
Office 2000 so thought perhaps I could direct my question
to you. I lost my hard drive and had to reinstall
everything. Am now trying to install SR-1, but it is
prompting me for CD 2 which I put into the drive.
However an error message comes up which states that it is
looking for data2.msi which is not on the CD or my
computer. Did you run into this and how did you overcome
it if you did?
