I have a laptop that was purchased with Office 2000 Small Business already installed. I want to apply Service Pack 1 to enable me to install Service Pack 3. The problem is that I am prompted to load the Small Business disk to start the Service Pack 1 installation but I was not given the disk whent the laptop was purchased. Is there a way around this?

Hi Scott,

Call the OEM and request the installation CDs. They should have
provided them to you.

If they refuse then you could try contacting the Microsoft Replacement
and Supplemental Parts Department at (800) 360-7561 and explain that
the OEM refuses to provide you with the CDs. I know they will issue a
new CD key in these situations and they may help out with the CDs as
well. I'm not sure though.
