(Strange bug in Outlook 2007 – can’t type certain letters in subject
line)

Ever since I upgraded to Outlook 2007, I periodically get the
strangest bug and I was wondering if anybody else has seen this. I
can’t type the letters t, h, c, or v in certain fields – To:, Cc:,
Bcc:, Subject:, or Search. I _can_ type those letters in the body of
the message. Restarting outlook makes the problem go away for a while,
but it keeps coming back and I haven’t figured out what the trigger
is. I can still type ctrl+c and ctrl+v and they behave as normal
(copying and pasting as expected). No other programs seem to be
affected, but I don’t use other office products much to say for sure
that they don’t have similar fields. It’s amazing how often you use
those letters – just look at the subject of this email and you’ll see
how confusing it can be (I could have copied and pasted into the
subject line, but I figured that leaving it as-is might catch
somebody’s attention).
