ssl required for non Windows user account

Hi.

Just installed Project Server as specified in the setup guide.

However I can't login after starting the Project Web Access 2003
administration.
I've seen several people having the same problem. Then I found this
workaround on the net:

******************************************
I tried some "non - offcial" technique.
You need in Project Server SQL database, table MSP_WEB_RESOURCES, update col
umn WRES_NT_ACCOUNT, set YOUR_DOMAIN\Administrator value. In WRES_USE_NT_LOG
ON column set value 1.
Try logon again..
******************************************

That works, meaning I'm in as the local administrator - not
MSProjectServerUser4008
MSProjectUser4008
WebAccessAdministrator

Now I wonder;

1. When do I need these accounts? I plan to let users use their domain
accounts (no login)
2. Have I replaced the WebAccessAdministrator with the local administrator?
3. Do I actually NEED to enable Basic Auth. and SSL with a certificate to be
able to login as another use than the current Windows user (if I needed to
use ie. MSProjectUser4008, or logon as admin from another computer)?

Thanks in advance!
