stalling emails when composing

i was under the impression that there were MS MVP's in here with knowledge of
there bugs. i'm aware this is beta and we're not to "expect" support,
nevertheless, this forum does seem to exist.

has NO ONE encountered a similar discomfort with their new Outlook:

when i'm typing something new to be sent, my cursor is stalling every
several seconds FOR a few seconds. at times, the whole windows wants to lose
focus, replaced my Outlook's Main App, i think - i have to write a LOT of
emails in a day, and this is quite frustrating.

anyone discovered what's going on with this, yet?

thanks so much, ya'll

I am experiencing the same difficulty. In my limited run with this problem,
I believe that it is caused by the RSS Feeds updating. At least that is what
I notice the system seems to be doing. I agree with you that it is completely
annoying.

One thing that does seem to work, is deleting all of the subscribed RSS
feeds. Another issue of course, seems to be the SQL Server. Often, if you
review the process tab, you will see that the amount of used resources there
in addition to MSOUTLOOK and IExplorer are off the charts.

As to the assistance of the non-existent MVPs I dont know, I'm sure that
they are busy with countless other bugs.

I surely wouldn't recommend running this beta on a work machine though. It
is still beta and the problems I have encountered are just too frustrating
for the type of reliability that you need.

I've experienced slowdowns from the Windows search service running in
the background. When it happens, you should run TaskManager and see
what process is using up the CPU.
