I would like to have a bell curve for presentation purposes. Is a
curve available somewhere or is there a mechanism for building one,
simply, without adding a ton of data points? I would like to be able
to manipulate the amplitude and width of the curve.
You can draw any curve you like using the drawing tools (the Freeform
"sub-tool" of the Lines tool is probably your best choice - it takes a bit to
get a handle on but will draw nice smooth bezier curves for you)
Or there's an option in Graph to use smoothed curves to connect data points
instead of straight lines. That way you could do it as a graph but with a
minimal number of data points. I don't have the exact steps handy; Mr. Mac
tells me "Server Not Found" when I try to insert a graph. I need a bigger
baseball bat.
