Standard Deviation Error Bars (Access 2003 MS Office Web Component)

I have a series of bar graphs created using the MS Office Web Component. I have added the "error bars" to the graphs, however it seems to give me only two different options for the calculations reflected in those bars - "fixed" and "percentage." In the Access 2003 help tool, it shows the formulas for both standard deviation and standard error, yet it doesn't explain how to get the error bars to reflect the values reached by either of those formulas. Any ideas?
