Any suggestions for cleaning up/out the standard fields in the Global
Enterprise Template would be greatly appreciated.
When we originally created our Enterprise Global template, we used a
customized template from MS Project 2000 as the basis, which included
values & formulas in the Standard fields (of which the Enterprise
Global Template isn't programmed to recognize). Now that we have
updated the Enterprise fields with new values, the old values (in the
Standard fields) are still showing up when connected the the Enterprise
Global template both "Online" and Offline"(Project Server Account
-Offline), when using the Standard fields. Of course the
values/formulas are in the Standard fields, but how do we delete those
values from the Enterprise Global template, since standard fields can't
be accessed. Any ideas?
P.S. This causes a problem for our Macros written to "copy" the
Enterprise data to Standard fields for access by users running MS
Project Standard (i.e. if I have a drop-down list of "Water, Fire, and
Ice" in the Enterprise, and the Standard field has a drop-down list of
"Water and Fire", then whenever the macro attempts to copy a field with
"Ice", the macro fails. Help!
