Standard format for comment boxes

Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a way to define an alternative standard format
for comment boxes in Excel 2004
(for instance, blue background, no bold font, no border, no shadow ...)

Thanks for any help,

Alex

I f you select the border of the comment and do format>comment,
there you can select fill color, fonts borders etc

Peo,

That's correct, but I think he wants to set a default format so that it
appears that way whenever he inserts one. I don't think there is a way to do
that, other than maybe via an event macro.

Indeed, that was what I meant ;
it is a pity that such basic customisation is not available ...

Maybe is it possible to write an applescript to automatically format all
comment boxes in a given XL sheet (I don't know, I'm not familiar with
Applescript with Excel)
