Standard Format for entire Document

have a customer who has pasted numerous smaller documents into a blank Word
Document. Unfortunately, the smaller documents are all formatted differently
by different users. What he would like to do is Get rid of all the
formatting and have the new document set to Left justify and remove any
hidden returns, indents, margins...etc. Then, he will reformat this new
collection of smaller documents into a larger one. How can this be done?

Hi Pearl,

You could copy the whole document, paste it into Notepad, then copy from Notepad and paste back into Word. If you paste into a
paragraph set as left justified, that's how everything pasted back into the document will appear.

What you'll find via this approach is that any numbered paragraphs will have 'manual' numbering followed by tabs, and any bulleted
paragraphs will have periods followed by tabs. To prevent this, you can un-number and un-bullet the document before copying &
pasting into Notepad.
