Standard menu bar

I am using office 2007. How do get the classic view of office with these
program, that displays the "menu bar" that is consistant with office 97 thru
office 2003 products.

Sorry, can't be done. You can install an aftermarket product that
helps, someone here can direct you to it or you could search the group
but, of course, if you were willing to do that you wouldn't have asked
the same question dozens of others have asked...

considering creating a swiitch that enables the previous "menu bar".

No, the current format was decided upon based on input from users so
the amount of disatisfaction isn't significent, most people seem to
favor the change.

If you'll read all the comments in the group over the past months,
you'll see why the old format couldn't be retained and if you'll take
the time to become accustomed to the "ribbon" you may find you like it.
