Standard paper sizes?

I am creating an instruction manual on a sheet that will be
approximately 22" x 12", but would like to use a "standard" size of
paper (if there is such a thing).

Is there a list of standard paper sizes? Thanks -

Best way to figure standard paper if you are printing it yourself is to read
your printer manual. Most home printers will not print any larger than 8.5 X 14.
Some will go tabloid (11 X 17). If you can get access to a large format printer,
they have the capability to print around 44 inches. There is one that will print
60 inches.
Of course they cost thousands of dollars. They use paper rolls.
