standardize with Tabs (IE7 style) for files in Word, Excel etc

Please can we standardise with Tabs in Office 2007 (as with the Explorer 7
beta 2) for each of the Office programmes. e.g. In Word let each file be a
Tab allowing quicker access between files, especially helpful when working on
large files and when referrencing from one to another.

Hi Adrian,

It won't happen in Office 2007. For that, it is way too late in the
product cycle. Currently, Microsoft is focusing on fixing bugs and
improving performance and stability.
The earliest Microsoft might implement tabs is for Office 14 (#13 is
being skipped). By the way, Access 2007 has tabs already, but you need
to activate that mode.
