Standardizing fonts across workgroup

I support an office with 8 PCs. We've having a problem that the set of fonts
on each PC is different. So when a document is created on PC A using some
cool font and then opened on PC B that doesn't have that font, my users get
frustrated. Is there an easy way to ensure that all the PCs have all the
same fonts on them?

Start at http://www.microsoft.com/typography/ and browse a bit. There are
lists, somewhat outdated but probably helpful, of what fonts ship with what
versions of MS software/operating systems.
