I have a task with multiple resources.
The task start date is schedule for 5/11/2009
I have a split view with "Resource Schedule" on bottom

One resource has enter actual hours on 5/12/2009.
All the other resource show a start date of 6/19/2009.

Here is what I do:
I change one of the resources start date to 5/11/2009.
All the others are reset to 5/11/2009 except for the resource with actual
hours.

OK... so far
Then I try pushing one of the other resources back to 6/19/2009 and click OK.
The date is 6/19/2009 and a second later is reset to 5/11/2009.

Why is the date for that resource reverting back to 5/11/2009?

Hey there ,

No idea why this is happening ... perhaps have "Must Start on" or
"Start no Later Than" constraint on the 5/11/2009 ?? Otherwise why not
just add 1minute actual time on the 6/11/2009 ?

I figure it out and can explain the behavior.

There are two predessor tasks to the task having problems. One of the tasks
was marked complete, however, when I looked closer at it, I found that actual
time was applied and it was forcing the start date on my problem task.

It was strange. I was using the Task Driver pane, and it didn't show the
task driving the start date.

Thanks for you help anyway.
