Hello, I am using project 2000.
I have tasks 1,2,3,N with different durations in a schedule of about 300
tasks.
Under most circumstances task durations for linked tasks calculate as I
expect. Task 1 starts on Thu 2/5, has five days duration, ends on Wed 2/11.
Task 2 starts on Thur 2/12, etc.
But on some tasks ...task 2 does not start the day after task 1 finishes.
Task 2 starts 5 days later, 6 days later or more. The gantt chart shows the
standard blue depedency line. It just extends over a number of days to the
start of task 2.
1) This appears to occur with one specific resource. However the days
between the finish of task 1 and start of task 2 vary.
2) I have checked my master calendar and the specific calendar for that
resource. I have not set any non-working days.
3) I have not set any lag time. All my tasks are finish to start.
4) There are no other predecssor or successor links beyond the two tasks.
I am assuming I am just missing something obvious ...
Thanks.
