After the worm attacked my computer, I had to do a safe
mode non-destructive reconstruction of my system. Now,
when I attempt to open a new page in Windows 97, for
example a fax template, there are none there. I have
lost all my templates and have some funky looking
stationary only. How do I recover my templates? I do
not have the Windows 97 CD.

Joshua,

of course it would be difficult to say what happened to
your templates. You might try searching for them using a
wildcard from the windows search utility. Look for any
files having a dot extentsion (*.dot). Also, check...

Tools | Options | File Locations: to determine where Word
says your templates are being stored. Modify if you like.
