Starting a Microsoft Office for Word Document

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel The fonts come out very small. I have to use font size 20 to make it legible as I write. Also I cannot seem to expand the tabs so that the area I am writing in is only about 1/3 of the page. How do I sort out these 2 problems?

Have a look on the View menu for the Zoom item.
