starting new line under "bullet"

when listing bulleted points, often i would like to start a new line within
the bulleted point. However, when I press enter, it starts a new bullet.
I can do it manually by double hitting enter, move curser up, push delete,
start to type, then use tab at every line, but this is very cumbersome---
there must be a better way!

Shift + Enter inserts a line break which isn't a paragraph break. You are
still within the bulleted list.

If using Justified text, you will probably want to hit Tab first.
