Starting OL 2000 always in the same manner

I would like to startup OL 2000 always with the same windows in the same
positions and format. This only seems to work if you close outlook from the
menu (files>close) when closing with system shutdown it forgets the
positions, sizes and open windows most of the times. I have experimented
with making read-only various files and registry-key (tx to Robert Sparnaaij
for his "Files and Settings guide for Outlook") but until now with no luck.
Any idea's?

As far as I can tell, File>Close is the only way to get Outlook t
remember that multiple windows were open and to open them again the nex
time
